A powerful spell

The magician was minding his own business, drinking a coffee on a fine Sunday morning at a pavement table of a street cafe. A disheveled young man appeared at the table, interrupting the magician's peace. "Perhaps I will turn him into a dung beetle…"

He heard the voice of the enchantress, although she was nowhere to be seen. "He's a child. He looks like a fully grown man, but he is a child. Look into his heart, magician…"

The magicians heart began to swell. A lump rose in his throat, and he turned away to avoid the young man realizing that he was fighting back tears. Memories of the darkest days of his life, when he had lost his faith in dreams, were flooding his magical mind. He looked directly into the face of his fears and inner darkness, and cast a powerful spell.

A small book appeared on the table where he sat. (Click here to read the book…)

The disheveled young man took the book, read it, and learned that our dreams come true when we believe in them.
