"I want an invisible dragon!"

The magician sat at an outdoor table, enjoying his coffee. Sicilian Avenue was one of his favorite London streets. A beautiful, timeless moment in the crowded city.

He had been observing preparations for the proposal. The owners of the flower shop had set up a surprise in their front window, and covered it with a light curtain. In a few moments, something very special would happen…

The magician called to his son. "Come, my boy. You will enjoy this…"

The invisible dragon was not so far away. He loved to zoom along the Thames, making ripples and spray rise of the water as the tips of his invisible wings touched the surface. As his fathers supra-conscious call reached him, he banked steeply upward, then north toward Holborn. His father gave him a subtle wave when he arrived over Sicilian Avenue, beckoning him to watch. The invisible dragon hovered above, and craned his neck down to see what was going on.

A young man brought his girlfriend down the tiny avenue. They halted directly in front of the flower shop. At just the right moment, the owners released the curtain, revealing the words "Marry Me…"

Her answer: "Yes!!!"

The magician and the invisible dragon were both enchanted. Love is a very special form of magic.

The dragon gave his father an invisible wink, and returned to skimming the surface of the Thames.

The magician was curious about this magical little flower shop. He wandered inside and questioned the owners with a smile. "That was a very special thing you did…"

The woman, whose name was Jan, grinned. "It was his idea. Nice, huh?"
The magician eyes sparkled. "Magical..."
The man, her husband Sean, smiled warmly. "Can we help you?"
The magician wanted to find out more about these two people. "Not with flowers, thank you. I'm a magician, in town for a few days. I noticed a magic moment, so came in to find out more…"
Sean beamed suddenly with pride. "A magician? Really? I played a wizard once, in Harry Potter!"
Jan was a little curious. "What kind of magic do you do?"
The magician told the truth, because no-one ever believed it. "The usual stuff. Create universes, travel across space and time, ride on an invisible dragon…"
Jan was enchanted. "Really? I want an invisible dragon!"
The magician had an idea. "I'll see what I can do."

He left the store, casting a small spell over Jan and Sean as he crossed the threshold.

Later that night, Jan and Sean shared the same dream. They dreamed they were flying on an invisible dragon, to all the old places where they had fallen in love. To Amsterdam, soaring along the beautiful canals and over the flower markets. Flying high across Europe to greek islands like Syros, which look so beautiful from above.
Flying back to England, and zooming along the Thames, watching the dragon's invisible wings raise ripples and spray off the surface of the water. Out along the valley, past Windsor castle, and back to the old village where they lived…

The magician and the invisible dragon observed the dream from their supra-conscious reality.

They were both enchanted. Love is a very special form of magic.
