I need a little magic

The invisible dragon was flying over the house by a mountain, near a river not far from a city. He spotted Franki in the garden, who was muttering to herself. "I need a little magic in my life now!"

The dragon swooped down and lit on the grass. "We can go flying, my precious friend."
She was so absorbed in her emotions, she didn't really hear. She just felt a kind of presence, and she answered the voice. "That would be nice, but I have so many things to do."
He realized she wasn't really aware of him. "Important things?"
She was imagining all the things she had to do. Her 'to do' list rotated in the air around her, and was preventing her from realizing he was there. She thought out loud. "Shopping, feed the kids, check my email…"

The dragon, with his magical invisible eyes, could see it all.
The invisible dragon liked being in their nice backyard. "Look around you Franki! The green grass, the sounds of birds…"
She suddenly felt the sun on her skin, and stretched. "Oh, it's nice to relax for a while…"
He saw her face become peaceful in the sunshine, and a smile settled on her lips. He gazed at her, wondering what it was like to be human, to be a mother.

Then his magical invisible eyes saw something else. Images of shopping and children and email began to float around her again, and her smile vanished. The young dragon had a thought. She's right, she needs a little magic in her life right now!

He had been practicing simple spells. He focussed his mind, and said to himself…

So many things, good things to do
But today Franki, not for you!

The mystical images of shopping and feeding children vanished, but the emails lingered. He realized he still needed some improvement in his spell casting...

…fun loving emails, you're gone too!

The image of the emails floating around Franki vanished as well. And her peaceful smile returned.

He realized it was time to leave. "Maybe we can go flying together next time, my precious friend."

He left her to her reverie.
Franki is alive and well and living in Brisbane
